I was happy to see Nancy Kandoian's question and Paige Andrew's response
and would like to encourage all Maps-L subscribers to submit more map
cataloging questions to the list. As base line editor, I was present at
the meetings in Washington and volunteered to do what I can to encourage
more participation from maps catalogers on Maps-L. We also discussed the
possibility of developing a discussion list devoted exclusively to map
cataloging. The consensus was to encourage more traffic in cataloging
questions on Maps-L first. So don't be shy. Let's hear about those map
problems. There are many experienced people on the list who can help
clarify the muddy waters.
