Both "MapExpert" and "Street Atlas USA" are products of DeLorme in
Freeport, Maine. Phone: 1-800-452-5931; 207-865-1234. I have glossy
advertising material but have not seen the products.

Try Street Atlas by Delorme Mapping. They have an amazing database covering
the entire U.S. Pick a town, zoom in on it, and you have your streets. It
isn't too expensive if I remember correctly.

-Map Expert is a Windows program. It beats StreetAtlas USA hands down
for ease of use and printing. We use it all the time. Both are
produced by DeLorme, out of Freeport, ME.

-There IS an oft bundled DOS program called "Expert Maps". It's a
thematic mapping program, and about 30-40 dollars most places. I
have it at home, and have had little use for it.

As for air photos, none of these programs would be much help.

This CD is available from DeLorme Mapping in Freeport Maine their address is

DeLorme Mapping
Lower Main Street
P.O. Box 298
Freeport, Maine 04032

I have been very impressed by the detail of this product. Also with additional
hardware and software the mapping program can be used in conjunction with a GPS
system.
