Subject: WAML Fall Conference

By now you should have received registration information via snail mail
regarding the Fall WAML conference in Golden, Colorado. If you haven't
and would like this info snail mailed to you, please send me an email. OR
you could print off the registration page from the conference web site:
www.mines.edu/library/maproom/waml.html

Remember, registration is due October 11, 1999. If you plan to go on the
field trip to Pikes Peak, it is due September 29, 1999.

For those that missed the original posting, here it is again:

I am pleased to announce that the agenda and registration information for
the Fall 1999 Western Association of Map Libraries meeting have been
posted to our web site. This Fall's conference is October 20--23, and is
being held on the campus of the Colorado School of Mines in Golden,
Colorado.

The conference takes place directly before the annual GSA and GIS meetings
in Denver (October 23--27).

Highlights of the conference include talks by Hal Shelton (cartographer)
and members of the US Geological Survey, a visit to the US Geological
Survey's Rocky Mountain Mapping Center and warehouse, and a field trip to
the top of Pike's Peak.

Registration is $25. The banquet is $34. The field trip is $21. I have
reserved a block of hotel rooms for $55/night/double occupancy.

For more information, please see:

I hope to see you in Golden!
