What happened to those Nat Geo kiosks, in commercial sites? where USGS
topos could be printed out on demand? admittedly several years ago, and
perhaps based on outdated technology. Those did at least provide some
sort of easy access to topos. Or am I misremembering in my dotage?

I always thought it was an odd mix of USGS and National Geographic, not
to mention confusing to the great general public about
authorship/responsibility.

    All,

After last week's announcement from USGS regarding topos, now what?
Should we buy a big plotter and print off topos, etc. for people
whenever they want them? Or provide computers with oversized
monitors and that's it? What are people planning to do?

    Thanks,
