Subject: another map thing to see in New York
Sender: nkandoian <[log in to unmask]>

For those in New York this summer, there's a cow to come see in Bryant
Park with a colorful map of New York -- all five boroughs -- painted
on it. Part of the NYC 2000 Cow Parade, this cow sculpture was
painted by artist Allison Beispel, and it's called "Streetsmart Cow."

There's supposed to be information about the Cow Parade at
www.cowparade.com, but I wasn't able to get through when I tried just
     now.

For those who don't know, Bryant Park is right behind the New York
Public Library (between 5th and 6th Aves., between 40th and 42nd
Sts.), and the Streetsmart Cow is near the 42nd Street side of the
park, maybe about half way between the avenues.
