The USBGN gazetteer of the Soviet Union shows Hoffnungstal
(Nadezhdovka) at 46 19N, 29 12E. On the U.S. Army Map
Service - Eastern Europe 1:250,000 series (sheet NL 35-6 Tiraspol)
these coordinates and the town is approx. 27 kilometers east
of the Moldova border and well with The Ukraine.
