     CLOSURE OF BRITISH LIBRARY READING ROOMS FROM MONDAY 8 MARCH
     ------------------------------------------------------------
 
     Because of an industrial dispute, all the British Library's
     reading rooms, including Maps, will be closed for at least the
     week beginning Monday, 8th March.  The closure previously
     announced for last Monday (1st) did not, in the event, take
     place.
 
     Reader Services will provide the latest information on services
     on the Library's web site (http://www.bl.uk) and on the enquiry
     line: 0171 412 7676 (international: +44 171 412 7676).
