Subject: NYPL proposed map fair cancelled; symposium still on

NYPL had planned to hold a map fair in March 2006, but due to scheduling
problems, the fair has been cancelled.
Our 2 day map symposium, March 23-24, remains on schedule, and more details
follow here and on John Doktor's calendar of events.
Many thanks for both words of encouragement and warning! from so many of
you vis a vis organizing and holding a map fair. We will rethink this for
2007.
