Subject: NG maps on CD-ROM
 
 
I'm ordering the set of all National Geographic maps on CD-ROM
and our Acquisitions people would like to know the number of CDs
involved, if possible. Can someone tell me the number of discs
in the version currently being sold?
 
OCLC record 40437252 from U. of Wisconsin, Madison, says 8
discs.  Record 40324566 from Gainesville (GA) Jr. College says 6
discs.  Both records input late 1998 and have a similar number
of holdings attached.
 
I will give our Acquisitions Dept. the mean value of all my
responses. :)
