Johnnie,

Penn State has supported and been involved with the NSDI since 1996 through
the creation of PASDA, the Pennsylvania Spatial Data Access website, which
is a repository for Pennsylvania spatial metadata. The website is at:
http://www.pasda.psu.edu/

As stated on the opening page, "...PASDA is Pennsylvania's official
geospatial information clearinghouse and the Commonwealth's node on the
National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI)."

I'm quite surprised by the question, I believe every state in the U.S. now
has an official node on the NSDI and certainly many, if not all, support
the GSDI. Just last week I received the lastest Federal Geographic Data
Committee (FGDC) Newsletter which was chock full of information on the
relatively new GSDI effort.

Perhaps Martha isn't looking in the right place for this information? Go to
http://www.fgdc.gov/ and take a look at the "Stakeholders" page as a
starting point to see which agencies/orgs. are involved. Hope this helps
and I hope others reply!

Paige
