Dear subscribers,
 
 
ATLAS of TANZANIA
 
 As part of my Masters dissertation and mapping project I am gathering
together geographical and statistical data relating to Tanzania and East
Africa.
 
 It my aim to produce a selection of completed digital maps for an Atlas of
Tanzania and to create a set of appendices listing the availability of
geographical and statistical information for the country.
 
 I would gladly accept any information relating to sources on the following:
 
        Indices of Published Maps - topographic
        Thematic Mapping
        Map Collections - general and specialist maps
        Published Atlases
        Digital Data - raster or vector
        Remotely Sensed Imagery - Landsat, Spot etc.
        Statistical Data - population, health, employment etc.
        Geographical Research Papers - human, physical, cultural etc.
