Hi,
 
Here's a challenging one!  Do any of you have the FIRST edition of C&GS
chart #9475 (now NOS chart #16044)?  It would have been published about
1954-55.  It's the Camden Bay area off of the north coast of Alaska.  My
patron checked directly with NOAA in Riverdale and LC G&M without success.
The person he spoke with at NOAA indicated that the chart was distributed.
Although, I'm a bit skeptical that it was distributed because a DEW
(Distant Early Warning) site was established in that area in 1957.
 
The third edition was printed in 1968 and appears to be easily available in
collections.  And the seventh edition is the current one, printed in 1997.
 
Any help appreciated!
