urls

For those of you who attended MAGERT's Research Libraries Collection
Management Discussion Group at ALA Midwinter, here are the urls we
discussed for the Electronic Cultural Atlas Initiative (ECAI) web site and
the European National Mapping Agencies web page.

ECAI is an international, cross-disciplinary collaboration to create,
manage, access, and preserve spatially and temporally referenced
historical, social, and cultural data. It is headquartered at UC-Berkley.
ECAI's emphasis from early on was East Asia, but it is steadily expanding
into other parts of the world. For more about ECAI, you can visit:

http://www.ias.berkeley.edu/ecai/

The University of Michigan's Map Library offers a listing of European
National Mapping Agencies, with links to their web sites, and, in some
cases, an e-mail contact address. The page can be found at:

http://www.lib.umich.edu/libhome/map.lib/europe.html

Suggestions for additions are welcome! If you have any, please send them
directly to me.

Enjoy!

Thea Lindquist
