Hello,

When I have been asked to appraise materials, I have referred the
people to various antique map vendors on the list on the WAML Map
Librarian's Toolbox. Usually, they can find something similar (a Rand
McNally map a year older or younger, a map for a neighboring state or such)
that will give them an approximation. Everyone has been pleased with that
solution.
