Required Qualifications:  Master of Library Science (MLS) degree from an
ALA-accredited library school program; demonstrated ability to work both
independently and collegially in a demanding and rapidly changing
environment; interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills;
knowledge and experience in using traditional and electronic reference
resources; knowledge of HTML and the ability to create Web pages.
Additional Qualifications Desired:  Undergraduate degree in the social
sciences or humanities and/or economics work experience; experience in
using and knowledge of government documents; experience in providing
reference service in an academic library; supervisory experience.  An
offer of employment is contingent on a satisfactory pre-employment
background check.  Application deadline is October 21, 2011 or until a
