A colleague and map collector has analyzed his large collection of Clason road maps of the United States and Ontario and established which features correspond to various publication dates.  Clason maps are famously undated, but were made with progressive incremental changes to their road legends, cover illustrations, and advertisements.  His table of features will help you pinpoint dates on your Clason maps and road atlases, 1923-1931.

I am hosting the website for him, and think it will be useful to the map librarian community.
