Try checking with Mike at Photomaps USA - he knows a bit about Fairchild when they sold their collection, and he's a really nice fellow.

Hi,

I have had a request on the copyright holder of vertical aerial surveys of Long Island taken in 1937 and 1955 by Fairchild Aerial Surveys.

Does anyone know of the copyright holder?

S. Berliner III of Westbury, NY says that he has the vertical aerials, but upon questioning he appears only to have some.

The NYS Archives says that AeroGraphics would know, but the Long Island office does not.

It seems that Fairchild Aerial Surveys may halve sold its' copyrights a while back.

Until later,
