Subject: GIS in Your Library Survey
Sender: Jenny Stone <[log in to unmask]>

In February, I posted a quick, 8-question survey about GIS in libraries. The
results of the first survey were very interesting, and of course led to many
other questions... Ergo, I've enhanced and lengthened the survey, and asked
more directed questions, in order to find out a little more about the
current state of GIS in libraries. I ask a few questions about the types of
GIS services your library offers; some questions about the GIS staff at your
institution; and a few questions about you, the responder. The survey should
take about 10-15 minutes to complete. All responses will remain anonymous,
and no personally identifying information will be revealed.

I would appreciate your feedback, and please pass the survey on to other
GIS/library folks you know of. The survey can be reached by following the
top link on this page:

The deadline for the survey is April 25; I'll send a reminder next week to
catch any last-minute readers. When I've compiled the data, I will post the
results back to these lists. Thanks, once again, for your assistance.
