Colleagues

I joined this Listserve to learn about maps from you. I am a University
librarian interested in education about map librarianship. I am more
interested in systematic and sequential description of map collection
operations, guidance and training of map librarians. Could somebody
please recommend a place where I could get training covering
introduction to maps, elements of maps, map classification and use,
bibliographies and acquisitions guides, map processing and cataloging,
storage and preservation, and map librarianship and the administration
of map collections?

My main interest will be on short courses or attachments.
