I am hoping the good folks in Maps-L can help me with a problem I am having
with a couple of GAP Analysis cd-roms from the USGS.

I recall from a message from GPO, that all depositories needed to receive
the California GAP Analysis cd-rom because it contained the software needed
to make the thing run for the other states.  Well, today I tried to use it
for a patron who was wanting information on Washington State GAP Analysis
and I could not make it work.  It would only work with the California GAP
Analysis.

I did download the software onto the C drive but it will only respond to the
CA GAP information.

The cd-roms are:

        --GAP Analysis of Mainland California: An Interactive Atlas of
Terrestrial Biodiversity and Land Management
          U.S. Geological Survey, U.S. Department of the Interior
          SuDocs:  I 19.212/5: C 12

        --A GAP Analysis of Washington
          U.S. Geological Survey
          SuDocs:  I 19.212/47: W 47/disc1-2


Has anybody had any luck using the software?
