Don,

Upper Volta became the country of Burkina Faso a few years back. The country
code for Burkina Faso (which you use in place of Upper Volta) is: f-uv
for the geographic area code and "uv" for the place of publication fixed
field code.

According to the 1995 CIA World Factbook, the current name of Upper Volta
is Burkina Faso, or Burkina for short. The capital is Ouagadougou. The
country digraph is still UV. (Sunny place, I guess, right there on the
equator.)

Don,

You probably already know all this, but you may want to try
searching under Burkina or Burkina-Fasso <SP?>. Upper Volta went through
something of a name-change and restructuring a few years back, and that's
the new name(s). I don't know if that'll solve your code search problems,
but I thought it might be of some use.
