JOB DESCRIPTION:
 
The Hillsborough County Water Department (Tampa, FL) has an immediate opening
for a GIS engineering supervisory position with a salary range of $38,937 to
$59,862. Requires a 4-year degree with a major in Engineering; and 4 years of
engineering experience in GIS engineering, mapping, or database manipulation
software.  Duties include producing GIS applications, scripts, and maps, as well
as overseeing atlas and presentation maps using Genasys Genamap GIS and Informix
software running in HP UNIX. This position is in the Wastewater Planning Team
and in charge of the WW GIS Group (current staff of 4 including this position).
The current major project is developing the detailed facility databases to match
the geographical information.  We are looking for a person with strong work
ethic, self-motivated, and doesn't mind exploring manuals, etc to achieve goals.
