The latest article in Coordinates is Vladimero Valerio, "The History of
Cartography in a Nutshell."  This is an English translation of a one
paragraph history of cartography in Italian that Professor
Valerio originally created for a multi-media project by the Museum of
the History of Science in Florence.  The single paragraph is backed up
with about three pages of notes and many links to illustrations of maps.
