Subject: NYPL map exhibit: last chance

------------------

Mapping New York's Shoreline 1609-2009 closes this
Saturday, June 26, at 6 p.m., after a 9 month run at NYPL, 5th Avenue &
42nd Street, in Manhattan, NYC.

Some 200 maps, prints, views, manuscripts, and 2 neat digital mapping
displays created by Matt Knutzen, Geospatial Librarian at NYPL, are
there for your enjoyment. The exhibition celebrates Henry Hudson's 400th
anniversary of sailing up the Hudson River and not finding Asia. Nothing
like a little bad luck.

You've been given fair warning, so you locals who want to visit--this is
your last chance.

Alice
