Subject: Re: Company towns <fwd>

One from my home area comes to mind - Sinclair, Wyoming, just outside
Rawlins. Big refinery there.

According to Wyoming Place Names / by Mae Urbanek, the refinery was
purchased in 1934 by Sinclair, renaming the town from 'Parco' to
Sinclair.
