1. Blue Marble extends ArcView GIS to export DXF.

CADWriter is an ArcView GIS Extension (AVX) that creates a DXF file
from selected items within any active theme. "We remain committed and
focused on delivering plug'n'play applications, developer tools and
extensions for the GIS and CAD customer", stated Mark Bradstreet,
Director of Business Development at Blue Marble. Any ArcView GIS theme
based on vector data can now be converted into an AutoCAD DXF file at the
push of a button in ArcView GIS. CADWriter AVX will revolutionize the way
you send or transfer maps to your customers and clients whether they are an
AutoCAD or MicroStation user.

4. The University of Virginia's Facilities Maintenance
Department is using Autodesk MapGuide software for delivering facility
floor plans and associated data campus-wide via the University's intranet.
The first drawings made available to campus staff are real estate space
drawings. Using Autodesk MapGuide and the Internet, staff can access a
Web page for the campus grounds and click on buildings to reveal floor plans.
Users can easily zoom, pan, redline and print the drawings.
Soon, the department will publish landscaping and visitor center drawings.
