The History of Cartography Project at the University of Wisconsin-Madison
is seeking applicants for a 50% appointment as reference editor for Volume
Three, Cartography in the European Renaissance. Responsibilities include
proofreading manuscripts, adjusting manuscript format to meet University of
Chicago Press standards, checking references, working with editors,
corresponding with authors, and performing various library tasks. The
successful applicant will have word processing experience, the ability to
work independently, excellent writing skills, thoroughness and an eye for
detail, and graduate student status at the UW-Madison. We strongly
encourage inquiries from individuals considering graduate studies at the UW
and invite current UW graduate students from all departments to apply.
