I'm trying to compile some facts on the Mid West Map Company in Aurora,
MO. During the 1920's and 1930's, the company made road maps to be
branded with the names of hotels, service stations, etc. Somewhere in
either the 30's or 40's, they stopped making road maps, focusing instead
on printing, lithographs, etc. They merged with another company in 1980
and still exist in Aurora as a printing company. I don't have concrete
information on the publisher, just stuff I found all over the web, so
I'd like to confirm dates on when the company printed maps or details of
the companies business. Any information I can find on the publisher. Our
offices will be putting one of their Arkansas maps up for display and
would like to add some details about the company and the maps.
