This article is very interesting!

I haven't open the supplement, but you can also try at this address

http://koeppen-geiger.vu-wien.ac.at/

You will find the updated Köppen-Geiger classification in many format
(ASCII, shp, grd and kml).

    Folks

In the most recent issue of Natural Hazards Observer (Nov 2007) on page
23, mention is made of an updated version of the Koppen-Geiger system of
climate classification. This updated map (plus the accompanying
    article)
is available for download in several formats (jpg and raster grid
    format) from:

    http://www.hydrol-earth-syst-sci.net/11/1633/hess-11-1633-2007.pdf
    <http://www.hydrol-earth-syst-sci.net/11/1633/hess-11-1633-2007.pdf>

You need to poke around a bit….you want volume 11, number 5, 2007 and
scroll down to the item entitled Updated World Map.

You may want to consult the final revised paper and the discussion
paper, but the map and data are in the Supplement. Download this and
unzip the file. You will notice that the extraction is a bit messy. Even
though some folders are empty, you will find what you want in the folder
    called Raster Files.
