        I believe that 6 maps are published every year with the National
Geographic. Here, at the
        Earth Sciences Information Centre, Natural Resources Canada, we pull
them out from the
        issue, catalogue and integrate them in the map collection. Our
experience has been that,
        if you leave the map with the periodical, it will be stolen,
misplaced, etc. We do the same
        thing for the maps issued with the Canadian Geographic.
