Subject: Re.: "Jacobsz Map"
 
        According to my notes, the "Jacobsz map" facsimile appeared as the
frontispiece to E.B. O'Callaghan's _Documents Relative to the Colonial History
of the State of New York_. BUT, according to I.N. Stokes (_Iconography of
Manhattan Island_) O'Callaghan misidentified the map, which is actually by
Blaeu.  Sorry I don't have the exact reference to Stokes handy, but his
comments should be easy to find in v. I or v. II of his work.
