CAARI librarian

The Cyprus American Archaeological Research Institute
(CAARI
www.caari.org) located in Nicosia,
Cyprus, seeks a full-time
librarian, who will be responsible for the daily
operation of the
research library, archives, and map collection under the
overall
guidance of the director.

Responsibilities reflect the
multi-faceted use of the facility. The
librarian must be computer literate,
with database experience; a
degree in library science is a strong advantage.
Archival experience
is desirable. Training in archaeology, history or an
ancillary
discipline is a plus. An additional task is the coordination of
the
yearly program which involves preparing and sending announcements
to
the mailing list and assisting the staff at program events.
Excellent
English language skills are required.

Please submit a cv or
resume, and the names of three references to
Vathoulla Moustoukki, Executive
Assistant at [log in to unmask] by
