Well, again this off the murder mystery theme, but I just recently read
Sue Hubbell's "A Country Year" (which I highly recommend). In it she
talks about a year living in the Ozarks. Throughout are beautiful
geographical, geological and entomological descriptions. It comes with a
small map of her property and several "geographic clues", whether
intentional or not I do not know, as to where the property is located. It
was a great book and would be a fun "mystery" to solve the actual location
of where her farm was located!

When he finally got to La Guardia and stepped out of the plane
onto New York soil, the horse vanished instantly along with the
power and the songs. New York will do this to you.
