Hi Julie,

Univ. of Calif., Berkeley has two Marsh & McLennan maps, but not an explanation of symbols. My guess is that they used Sanborn symbols, but maybe your user has discovered otherwise.

Cheers!

Phil

Hi, all,

I've received a reference request to find a key to the Marsh & McLennan
fire insurance maps symbology. Have any of you seen one or do you have
one? I've been unable to find one on the web nor have calls to the NY
main office or the SF office lead to any answers. I was told by the New
York office, "You'll have to call a library for that!" :)

Any help would be appreciated.

Best,

Julie
