You may want to check with some globe manufacturers as well.
I have dealt with companies in Italy which have told me that every single
government in South America restricts the importation of globes unless
they are certified by the respective Ministery Of Informations/or
Culture/Education.
 
I understand from a globe maker in former East Germany that there was no
such problem (or solution) for their clients i.e. some 30 countries of
the former communist world...
