There is a student in our library who is working on his 4th year honours thesis.
The thesis deals with scanning globes, modifying projections and comparing
to paper copies. This description does not give proper credit to this project
but more can be gained from him if desired. The point of this message is
to ask on his behalf, whether or not anyone can give him advice on the location,
storage and care of older globes. He'd like to know where there may be some
older globes and how they are being cared for if at all.
Any help would be appreciated. Answers and/or suggestions can be e-mailed to
him at the following address,

Again thank you for your help,
