Dear Ken,
Up-to-date topographic maps of Tanzania are hard to come by these days,
some of those avaialble still date from the British maps of the 1960's.
There are however some later editions of 1:250,000 maps but accessing them
is difficult.
One option is to purchase them from the Survey & Mapping Division in Dar es
Salaam, unfortunately they are often out of print or unavailable.

Alternatively try the Geography Department at the University of Dar es
Salaam who may also have these sheets. Contact cartographers Alex Ngowi

them photocopied or borrowed on an inter-library loan
