The Royal Thai survey Department has online indexes for its 250k JOG and
its two 50k maps series.

This brings up a Googlemaps map/satellite image of Thailand. Beneath the
map is a text box.

Type in http://www.rtsd.mi.th/gps/1501.gif to get an overlay of 250k JOG
sheetlines.
Type in http://www.rtsd.mi.th/gps/L7018.gif to get an overlay of the new
50k series topo sheet lines.
Type in http://www.rtsd.mi.th/gps/L7017.gif to get an overlay of the old
50k series topo sheet lines.

sheets coloured solid red are not available due to border disputes with
neighbouring countries.

The 250k series comes in 3 flavours. 1501 is JOG ground, 1501A is JOG
air, and 1501S is civilian JOGs. Only 1501S is available to the public.
All three use the same sheetlines.

For the 50k sheets, the sheetlines are identical for both the old L7017
series, and the new NATO-style L7108 series.

Both of these series come in two flavours:
L7017 and L7018 are the official use-only series, with a 1km grid. all
sheets except those in solid red are available.

L7017S and L1018S are the civilian (s = civilian!) series available to
the general public. They are the same as the official series except for
the absence of the 1km grid. Lat/Long are still shown.
On the L7017 index, sheets in green are available in the civilian L7017S
series.
On the L7018 index, sheets with a "S" are available in the civilian
L7018S series.

Note that L7108S coverage includes most of the south. I am told that
they have decided to re-revise the series, and that it should be
complete within 4 years, hence the unavailability of sheets in the N and
NE as yet.

to the RTSD's account.

L7018S   100baht each (US$3)

are not available to the public)      70baht each (US$2)
