Virginia: According to the National Archives' Special List no. 25 "Aerial photographs in the National Archives," they have air photos of Minidoka County for 1937 and 1940. The Aerial Photography Field Office has 1956 onward. See http://www.fsa.usda.gov/FSA/apfoapp?area=home&subject=prod&topic=cat for a listing.

I also found the following on the web that may be of interest -

There is an 1943 air photo of Minidoka in Chapter 9 (figure 9.6) of Confinement and Ethnicity, an overview of World War II Japanese American Relocation Sites. http://www.nps.gov/history/history/online_books/anthropology74/ce9a.htm

See also a map at -

Hope this helps.

Does somebody on this list know where Idaho aerial photography is housed
when it's no longer current, please? I'm interested in coverage of the
Magic Valley from 1945 onwards for the purpose of identifying structures
that might be old barracks or parts thereof from Minidoka.

Thank you for any light somebody can shed.
