Dear All,

My question deals with the history of the Assembly District Boundaries for
the State of California.

My student needs maps showing the districts. For the 1960s and before the
"one-man, one-vote" rulings of the U.S. Supreme Court in Reynolds v. Simms.
Like 1950's, 1900's 1870's, 1850's. Seems like a good spread out set of
years. Any one year in those decades would be fine, since districts are set
every 10 years so as to comply with the census reports.

The student would like to know if each county was guaranteed to have at
least 1 Assembly district no matter its population.

Are these maps available online or otherwise.
