Marilyn

we're using the BLM option on this web site until something better
comes along. downloads are possible but i haven't tried it. plus, for a
price, they'll send you a "digitized" map. that might mean a DRG.

if you're willing, please ask them the particulars and share their
answer with the group.

Thanks.

Does anyone know if there is a digitized format or equivalent GIS data
available to replace the Bureau of Land Management Surface Management
Status maps and the Surface- and Mineral Management Status maps?

Thanks in advance for any help that you can provide.
