Colleagues,

There is no better way to make an impact on the future of the Federal
Depository Library Program than to serve on Depository Library Council,
an advisory board to the Public Printer of the United States. See
http://www.access.gpo.gov/su_docs/fdlp/council/aboutdlc.html for more
information about the DLC.  Each year the ALA Government Documents Round
Table (GODORT) recommends up to five people to be nominated by the ALA
Executive Board to serve on this advisory board to the Public Printer.

Are you interested in being considered for possible nomination or do you
wish to suggest someone else for consideration as a nominee? If so,
please fill out the online application form at

before December 7, 2007. Please note, resumes cannot be substituted for
