OCLC map catalogers should be on the alert for this subject heading
problem.

When attempting to control the following subject heading in OCLC Connexion:

651  _0  Mexico $v Maps.


It erroneously flips to:

630  00  Mapas Mexico.

The solution seems to be leaving it uncontrolled.

This has been reported to OCLC.
