Hi All,

Maps-L is a moderated list - meaning that all postings to the list
actually come to me first. I turn around and forward each email to the
list. As you know, I do send mail throughout the day, but I don't always
get to the emails immediately.

Because a lot of the free maps are spoken for very quickly, it is to
your benefit to reply directly to the sender rather than to the list. If
the original sender of the email is getting swamped with requests for
his/her free maps, he/she will often send another email to Maps-L with a
revised list or indicating that all items have been claimed.

Just a small tip to help subscribers.
