My library does not have actual pirate maps, as in "X" marks the spot
for buried treasure. However, I do provide a link to this
http://www.icc-ccs.org/piracy-reporting-centre/live-piracy-map
from the International Chamber of Commerce Commercial Crime Services.
It shows locations of actual and attempted attacks, and also suspicious
vessel sightings.

Talk like a pirate day is fun. But piracy is not just a romance of an
earlier era, it still occurs. It's not fun. For the perpetrators it's
a rough way to earn a livelihood. For the preyed upon, it's a question
of survival. For governments and shipping companies, and insurers it
raises shipping costs, takes lives, and costs national treasure to
maintain the safety of the seas.

I was wondering if any library has actual pirate maps in their collection?
