The Department of Geography of Memorial University of Newfoundland has an
eight-month contractual position at the Assistant Professor level in
CARTOGRAPHY/REMOTE SENSING/GIS beginning September 1993. The successful
candidate will teach a required course introducing the fields of cartography,
remote sensing, and geographical information systems, as well as upper level
courses in GIS or other areas. Minimum requirement is the MSc. degree with
relevant experience, but the Ph.D. is preferred. In accordance with Canadian
immigration requirements, this advertisement is directed in the first instance
