Hi:

I need some help with the following reference question:

Where can I find out what percentage of the continental United States is
taken up by mountainous terrain? Of Mexico's terrain?

What about desert areas in both countries?

I can find the area of deserts for both countries by desert (not listed
by country), but mountainous area is stumping me. I guess it would
depend on how you define mountainous. Does anyone have any ideas on
where to find statistics for either one?

Thanks

Chris Kollen
