Britain from Above is a project, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, to
conserve, digitise and catalogue the earliest negatives in the Aerofilms
Photographic Collection and make them available for free online. The
Britain from Above Cataloguing team will facilitate access to the aerial
photographs by cataloguing them to standards and targets agreed for the
project. Cataloguers will be responsible for creating textual and
geographical data for Aerofilms images into a bespoke air photo database.
