Dennis,

I've worked with a lot of these types of maps over the years and my
feeling is that since they show the geology of the Earth's crust at its
"upper" or surface/surficial levels that they should be cuttered .C5

Hi All,

I have a bunch of surficial geologic maps of various Washington State
quads. and I'm trying to figure out which subject subdivision should be
used.  Right now it's a toss-up between .C28 (Ground characteristics.
Surface quality.Terrain studies.Slope) or the general geology cutter
(.C5).  Any thoughts?
