One good thing going for CDROM as a form of info distibution is that
extra copies cost next to nothing, so it is easy enough for a provider
to say that a legit customer who swears their rom was stolen can have
a replacement for $5. Not to say that every provider will be so sensible,
but they COULD be. With a large format atlas with lots of color and
special binding techniques, the cost of production can EASILY exceed
$10, and once stolen, it is just as useful (not requiring any kind of
license to use it). Dave
